Eight Million Dollar Grants Now Available for Long-term Trials of Drought Resilient Farming Practices

The Australian Government is offering competitive grants under the ‘Long-term Trials of Drought Resilient Farming Practices Program’, with up to $8m available per project, depending on scope and complexity.

The focus is on grain cropping, livestock grazing, mixed cropping and livestock systems. Projects likely to be funded will test, refine, and demonstrate the effectiveness of yet-to-be-proven farming practices in a robust scientific manner. That testing will underpin and assist to drive widespread adoption through increased evidence and by providing farmers with the confidence and information they need to try the practices themselves.

Round closes 15th March, 2023. Click here for more information.
